CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

We are currently accepting applications from PhD level experts in Slavic languages. Thanks to the growing demand for our language training in the State of Indiana and, more particularly, considering our immediate need to support both diplomatic and military personal overseas, we are currently accepting applications from Ivy league trained and PhD experts in Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, West Slavic, Belarusian, or Macedonian. Successful applicants must go trough four application rounds:

         ROUNDS OF APPLICATION:

  • FIRST ROUND: Complete and submit the pre-screen form below. Successful candidates will be contacted via email to submit their applications in the second round.

  • SECOND ROUND: If selected, please submit you CV, two letters of recommendation, copy of all your diplomas and letters of graduation to:  applications@carmeltutors.com

  • THIRD ROUND: If selected, complete the interview form that you will receive  via email. Candidates will conduct a panel interview with polyglots and administrators.

  • FOURTH ROUND: If selected, candidates must submit their personal information (SSN) to a third party agency nationally recognized by the US government and authorized to conduct criminal background checks at state and federal levels. Please note, only the results will be sent to us. We do not hold or store personal information. Further, candidates working either in Zionsville or Carmel, Indiana, must obtain a clean fingerprint records letter from their local police office.

    SELECTION REQUIREMENTS: To apply, aspiring candidates must:

  • Hold a PhD and/or PhD training (residency) from an Ivy League School;

  • Have a minimum of 10 years of verifiable teaching and tutoring experience in the language (or languages) they aim to teach;

  • Be a polyglot with a minimum of four languages and with proven multilingual shift performance and international work experience;

  • Show high competency in college applications and standardized tests preparation;

  • Master cognitive skills and linguistic training in the languages they teach;

    COMPENSATION: We are a professional network of Ivy leagued trained multilingual tutors. As such, neither do we offer medical/dental insurance nor do we hold any part of the tutor's compensation.  Our tutors receive a compensation of $110 per hour. In exchange, all tutors must comply with our teaching commitments and policies:

  • All tutors must reside at least two seasons (winter, spring, summer, fall) in either Zionsville, Carmel, or Fishers, Indiana. 

  • All tutors must reside and be fully available during the summer season to work both in Zionsville and Carmel, Indiana.

  • All tutors must agree to conduct group sessions and guided visit tours for upper-intermediate and advanced level students at no extra charge. 

  • All tutors must abide and follow our ethical teaching code.

  • All tutors must agree to give a minimum of 10 hours of free tutoring and 5 hours of free mentoring to low income students that are selected through low-income enhancement initiative.
